Connect Iraq is taking place at the Baghdad International Airport Hotel and Convention centre. The facility is inside the airport secure zone -- a high security area. The Hotel and Convention centre has its own private security on site. No special security arrangements are required from attendees. For more hotel info, please check:

Security for the Connect Iraq delegates is our highest priority. While extensive security arrangements have been made in this regard, and while we have been given assurances that conditions are secure at the airport and adjacent conference venue, affairs in Iraq are unpredictable and we cannot provide absolute guarantees of safety for attendees. For those who attend, we look forward to including you in this important programme.
For those coming by air:
Delegates coming through the airport will be greeted at the arrival terminal by an event representative and taken to the hotel by secure transport. At no point you will be required to leave the secure zone.
For local attendees:
Holders of Blue MNF and DoD badges should be able to go through the security check point by the airport and drive directly to the venue.
All other attendees should go through the security check point situated at the airport gate. After the check point, they will be greeted by one of the event representatives and transported to the hotel.
Please note that ALL pick-up arrangements for international and local visitors should take place prior to your arrival.
